Cal-YAF Asks, "What if the New Majority had won?" (See flyers here and here). At the California Republican Party's bi-annual convention in Sacramento, Cal-YAF had a question for guests in attendence, "What if the New Majority had won?" The New Majority, the liberal Republican donor group, who's mission statement is to remove any focus on social issues within the Republican Party, long has claimed that the Republican Party's main impediment to success is the Party's focus on "divisive" social issues. However, following the President's razor-thin margin of victory in Ohio, and the media's focus on "Values Voters" in the days that followed, it would seem that the New Majority's entire premise was proven false. |
